Okay, so. I handprinted an old negative in the communal darkroom, and then handtinted it at home with tea (a rooibos).

I really like how this turned out. I think the tea elevated the print, which was a bit bland before. Now it's got a cute vintage feel — with zero Photoshop/photo app interference.

The picture shows a black and white darkroom print of an analog photo. On the photo is a street in Turin, with a building in the center of the frame that has a pattern of lines and a circle on its façade. The paper on which the picture is printed, was tinted with tea. This gives the image a vintage look.

One of the reasons I love #infraredphotography as much as I do is its ability to turn the normally mundane completely on its head, such as how it rendered this small patch of brush at the north end of #fortdesotopark.
