Well, you got that la levrette is doggy style and so nailed semantic content and idiomatic usage in both languages. I'd say that was fair going.
My grandfather wrote a novel in Ukrainian a long time ago (maybe1930s) and never published it. It was given to me decades ago. My Ukrainian is not so good that I could read it with any clarity. After many failed attempts to try to get it translated over the years, I finally am starting to get somewhere by feeding it into Chat GPT. Though an imperfect translation, I can't wait to be able to finally read it.

Just came across this via a Japanese article where the author did a (extremely limited) test of it, and FWIW seemed to agree it was better than Google Translate and DeepL. No public API or anything yet but may be worth keeping an eye on.
I don't actually know anything about Kagi, but they do other stuff apart from machine translation too.

Obsolete for novelgame.jp as they've added a language selection which will auto-translate the game to English, Simplified or Traditional Chinese, or Korean!
Slight downside in that you can't easily go back & forth to check the original text if something's unclear (particularly annoying wrt characters' names), but it seems to solve the issue of text sometimes disappearing except in the backlog, which makes reading a lot easier!
Apologies for the Twitter link, but it looks like the New York City Office of Emergency Management ran their flood warning script through a machine translation system, then piped the "Spanish" output through an English speech synthesizer and broadcast it from their drones!

Found a useful screen translation app on Android for VNs I can't text hook, specifically lots of web-based & Android VNs.

Tried to take a video to demonstrate but couldn't get it to work, I think the way the translator displays on top of the app you're translating interferes with other apps (e.g. screen recorders) that are trying to do the same thing? Someone more technical explain it to me lol.
But anyway it's p. cool despite the limitations of machine translation, I have a bunch of games to check out on Android now. There's other similar apps but this one is free, you just have to stop & get more free points every 10 lines. I'll prob pay for it to avoid that but it makes it convenient to try out!
